Who We AreHello... I'm Allan Mason, your Show Day DJ, and have been in the entertainment business since I was 12 years old. Started playing drums in a high school rock band in 1961, began playing night clubs and touring at age 15. Became a top 40 Disc Jockey in Gaithersburg, MD at the great WHMC 1150AM in 1970 and started a television career in 1988.I produced and directed the Hooter's Pro Cup Auto Racing Series on ESPN and Prime Networks in 1995-1999, and won two Emmy's, 5 Tele's and an AP Journalism Award for my performance at PBS. Directed Alexander Haig's "World Business Review," and was the Sr. Producer for Emmy Award-winning "South Florida Today." After retiring from PBS, I hosted two radio talk shows on WBZT and WJNO iHeart Media, and have been the Master of Ceremonies for hundreds of music events around the country. |  ALLAN MASON |
